Earlier in the DMC council officers were arguing that the corrugated iron and asbestos panels of a dilapidated farm building should be preserved – but when it came to the 1880’s Elizabeth Hall they were negative about its merits. Such consistent expertise! Not surprising given the neglect they had imposed on it for decades. Who honestly still believes that this decision wasn’t taken years ago?
