This story from the Daily Telegraph.
“In controversial comments, Nick Boles said people must be “realistic” about the need for more housing, which will mean building on “environmentally uninteresting” green spaces.”
Now that’s what happens when you put a man with an environmentally uninteresting brain in charge of planning.
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique
And a swinging hot spot
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
They took all the trees
Put ’em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see ’em
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
I think the Blackdown Hills are VERY boring and should be concreted over asap. It won’t happen there, of course, but it will happen and is happening everywhere else in East Devon. Strange that.
Nick Bowles – ” a man with an environmentally uninteresting brain”. Where’s the proof of a brain at all?
Don’t you mean “Environmentally uninteresting green space” where his brain ought to be!
