Ha ha…. Mr Fowler pretends to be delivering Dinan Way when in fact it will be paid for by CIL contributions from many others… Typical developer spin! See rubbish on Claire Wright’s blog from John varley pretending to be on the Forestry Committee… They all talk rubbish…

Another example is Clinton Devon Estates ‘offering’ to upgrade the public footpath in Newton Poppleford as part of their application to build at King Alfred Way. This was a major factor in securing outline approval for the development. What the committee presumably did not appreciate is that our County Councillor, Christine Channon, has already worked extremely hard to secure funding for these improvements, and the work is already set to go ahead regardless of the inducements offered by Clinton.

It was John Varley from Barclay’s bank who was on the Bishop of Liverpool’s Independent Forestry Panel

Locals have received a circular from the developers, Eagle Investments (Fowlers), about this.
The word ‘Eagle’ appears in many of the companies that are responsible for developments around Exmouth and beyond including the controversial blocks of flats at Exmouth Docks, along with ‘Rock’. (Some have changed names or been disolved),
It is not clear if the Goodmores Farm project will deliver enough 106 money for the Dinan Way completion (8.4 million) or whether it is the start of a plan to extend development along an extended Dinan Way.
What is known is that the northern side of Dinan Way, from Woodbury common down, attracts a great variety of wildlife and that much of it is rare and will need full protection.
