Is merging of district councils or full Devon-wide unitisation the only way to go now?

    Of course it makes sense. Then you wouldn’t need to build new offices!!

    The LSE report states “It’s nearly a year since an LGA assessment of West Somerset Council declared it ‘not viable as unit of local democracy and governance’” Why did it go bust, – was it because it built a new headquarters?
