Wonder if we are going to be twinned with South Somerset!  Now that would be something: a Tory and a Lib Dem Council already with a shared Chief Executive and Local Plans in disarray!  Perhaps South Somerset would have its HQ in Honiton or Cranbrook!!!!!!

Plymouth Herald also reports this and adds:

With a smaller workforce the councils say this will reduce the need for office accommodation.

All staff roles in the two local authorities will also change once the measures take effect.

Workers will be ‘hot-desking’ rather than having dedicated desks.

Unlike OUR council which, in the midst of similar cuts is embarking on its expensive vanity project.

    Or is it Devious’s [moderated] master plan to move to Honiton and THEN merge with South Somerset? Oh the power in this man’s hands (until the next elections)
