This morning’s march was in protest against the impact on villages like Feniton, in East Devon and across the country, of the government’s national planning policy (NPPF).  These pictures kindly sent in by a marcher, capture the mood and the message of the event, jointly organised by Fight for Feniton’s Future, and the East Devon Alliance.

Around 400 people attended, including  local MP Neil Parish, and Councillors Claire Wright, Susie Bond and Roger Giles, and press and media were well represented. (See  https://sidmouthindependentnews.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/well-done-east-devon-alliance-and-fight-for-fenitons-future/)

Coverage of the event by the BBC’s Inside Out team will be broadcast on Monday 13 Jan at 7.30pm.
