CPRE Devon: does the left hand know what the right hand is doing?

15 Feb

Below is the evidence submitted by Doctor Margaret Hall of CPRE Devon regarding housing in East Devon where she argued persuasively for less development in the district.  This is totally at odds with the evidence of Tim Hale, CPRE Devon’s Chair, who argued yesterday in favour of removing protection  for the Exe Estuary from the East Devon Local Plan (see claire-wright.org for further distressing details)., which would pave the way for a greater amount of development.  Bit of left hand and right hand stuff going on here it seems.  Dr Hall’s submission is reported below

Just who and what does CPRE Devon actually stand for?  Perhaps local EDDC representative to CPRE, Councillor Philip Skinner, could enlighten us?
