So we could be talking about an extra 120K miles traveling to the new EDDC HQ, by East Devon residents … 2,500 gallons of petrol costing £12.5k annually. Shouldn’t these figures, and the time wasted be factored in to any cost/benefit analysis of the Skypark location ?

There might be a small number of people in villages near Skypark (and, of course, Cranbrook) who will have shorter journeys but by and large the vast majority of us in the district will be adding thousands of miles to the district’s carbon footprint. But what does this matter as long as Councillor Diviani saves 13 minutes each way on his journeys to and from his luxury office?
