This is the agenda for the next Overview and Scrutiny TAFF meeting – there simply are not words to describe what the Chief Executive and Leader of East Devon District Council are doing to the scrutiny procedure.
This agenda investigates NOTHING, THE TAFF MEMBERS ARE BEING MADE TO OPERATE WITH HANDS TIED, TAPE OVER THEIR EYES AND COTTON WOOL IN THEIR EARS!
There is DEFINITELY something being hidden from us all here.

PLEASE EVERYONE WE NEED YOUR ATTENDANCE AND INPUT HERE. SIDMOUTH AND SIDFORD ARE BEING SOLD DOWN THE RIVER AND THE ONE EDDC GROUP THAT MIGHT, JUST MIGHT, GET TO THE BOTTOM OF HOW THIS HAPPENED IS BEING RENDERED IMPOTENT.

This agenda is extraordinary. There is an assumption that the joint EDDC/EDBF forum (body) is here to stay and that the only thing to be discussed is ‘how best to engage’ with it. It feels as though we have missed the investigative meetings of the TAFF and are just heading for the Finish meetings.
Couldn’t agree more! It makes it clear they have a lot to hide. Transparent our Leader promised. Ha, ha.
