Double whammy for Cranbrook

Not only does the Flybe situation mean that there will probably be fewer jobs at the airport for Cranbrook residents, now we hear that Sainsbury’s is postponing development of its south-west distribution centre,, with no guarantee that it will ever be built at all.  This will place heavy reliance for jobs for people living in Cranbrook on the Science Park and in Exeter city.

And we won’t be needing all that extra employment land in the Local Plan now perhaps.
